The MAPS bird-banders have been catching some interesting birds lately. Last week, they got a Lazuli Bunting--not unknown here, but uncommon & very beautiful. then this weekend they caught a mother & fledgling Blue Grosbeak, which is a new species to our bird list--that doesn't happen very often!
